People who are sick or injured usually spend a lot of timeresting. They probably miss seeing theirfriends. You can cheer them up withnotes. Most of all, you can let themknow you are thinking about them.

I was sorry to hear that you were hurt onyour skiing trip. I hope you will be onyour feet and back at school again very soon. (express your feeling)
We all miss you in science class. You would have laughed the loudest when thewhite mice escaped from the cages the other day. One mouse, in fact, is still missing. Maybe you will find it when you come back. (send some news)
