Dear Luke !!!
I paid ten pounds to enter in the Westminster Abbey, I wished too much to know that place that I would have paid even more. If I make the conversion to my currency it was really expensive, but it is really worth to see many famous people over there. I liked it and when I return to there I will make another visit. I was in Bath too, there is a Catholic Church there, which people said to be very beautiful, I was supposed to visit the warm waters in a building but I found expensive ten pounds just to see water and didn't enter. Stonehenge is worth to see, there was a chilly wind that day in summer over there. On that day out of the blue a strong rain fell and we became all wet as nobody had an umbrella. The Restaurant is very next to the British Museum , a cozy place to have lunch and relax. There is another one in which we ate good pizzas for lunch next to Trafalgar Square , on a street which has theaters. I bought two guard dolls and a crystal ball filled with water showing London Eye, a classic Routemaster and the Tower Bridge - fantastic remembrances from London. I love London.
Bye for now Have a good evening NB

Hi BrazilianNew,
London seems so expensive to me, everything costs more than ten pounds. I went to St. Pauls cathedral and found exactly the same thing, which put me right off. I also love London, but I hate how expensive it has become. I wonder what changes will occur under the tories...

Franck, I know only a little about Italy, such as Florence, The tower of Pisa and Italian football. There are many handsome men in the Italian football national team. In my memories, Italy is a romantic city. I like it a lot, so if you are familiar enough, could you please introduce me to some interesting places

Hi Jane. Nice to meet you. I'm Shirani. I love to travel around the world. When I was in Sri Lanka my hobbies were listening to music, collecting stamps. After come to Singapore everything has changed. Now I want to travel. So far I have been to Malaysia, Singapore and one of Indonisian Island called Bintan ( Learneng do you know Bintan Island?)
Last March we had a plan to visit England. Due to some personal reasons we have to Postpone it. Some day I'll visit London.

Hi Luke,
Thank you very much Luke. It'll be nice. When I'll visit the london I'll let you know. Actually Learneng told me that she lived here before going to USA. That's why I mentioned about one of Indonisian Island which is near to Singapore. Next month we'll go to sri lanka for 1 week. Now we are planning to go to Sabha, Sarawak (west Malaysia) in next year.

Hi Shirani,
You are right, I was in Singapore for almost six years but never went to see Indonesia. My husband doesn't believe in tour or vacation so we hardly go to places for fun. We went to a nearby place (I don't remember the name) in Malaysia and it was a day trip other than this I haven't seen any other place near Singapore. I remember, my friends went to Bangkok, Indonesia, Australia and many beautiful places in Malaysia but I wasn't that lucky.

Hi Luke Thank you There was an air travel fair yesterday. We went there to get some information about Sabha , Which is situated in west Malaysia. We change our plan and try to go there in this long weekend. But after went to there we feel like it won’t enough 3 days to cover nice places in Sabha . They said it will take minimum 10 days to cover only Sabha state. There is a high mountain. To climb that mountain only it will take 2 days. Middle of the mountain they have a rest house. My husband is interested to go there. But we have only 3 days. So again we postpone to next year. Shirani

Hi Shirani,
Yes, we had been to New York and Washington when my parents and my sister visited us. Many bollywood actors come to Singapore. One of my friends sent me her pictures with Hritik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra.
Sorry for the random question, but are you seeing any effect of the current economical turmoil in Singapore?

Hi Learneng No need say sorry.
Yes. Because of economy crises here people are withdrawing their money from the banks. People became panic after economy hit down. Then government had mentioned they will guarantee money for 2 years in government banks. It’s dangerous to change job. Because we don’t know when it will close. Other thing companies are limiting head count.
I heard that UK government is trimming down immigrants from all over the world expect Europeans. Australia also doing same thing for permanent residence programmed.
Prime minister of Singapore said to Singaporean that they will have “rough ride ahead” .I think this is going to have a noticeable impact for a year or two. Learneng what do you think about Presidential election. Since you are in USA who do you think will be a good leader?

Hi Shirani,
It’s same everywhere. Here we are seeing a lot of changes due to economy in our day to day life. People stopped buying things, which is clearly visible when you go to shop at any mall. Earlier there was barely any space to walk and now the whole mall is completely empty. There are many stores, which decided to close-out the entire business instead of filing for the bankruptcy. Many workers are loosing their jobs and government also decided to cut employees by 50%. It is very scary and to top that political parties are making left and right false promises to win the elections. I like McCain, he is very experienced and not a socialist like Obama. Obama says, he will distribute the wealth between all the people. So people who worked very hard for their life to earn this money, to get to a position in life they have dreamed of, will be now forced to share their wealth with the poor. Poor who didn’t work hard are being rewarded for doing so.
I’m not sure what will happen in the near future but things aren’t looking good at present.
Learneng
