The person who inspires me most is neither the greatest nor the famous, but my polio friend. We have known each other since the age of eight. Because of his condition, I did not talk much about sport activities in front of him for fear of hurting his feeling. we discussed homework mostly or something lighter such as movies or songs. This had been my method of making him feel part of us each time we were together until one day. We were doing a project in a class-room and were so absorbed in it that we did not realise it was time to go home. When we were done and leaving the class room, we realised that the school bus had left without us. The worst thing was we had no money left in our pockets and the only way to get home was to walk 6 km. 6 km, it is a very long way I told myself this. While I was still troubled by this 6 km walk in my head, my polio friend suddenly said this " come on, let' us walk all the way home." Since that moment onwards, he and his few little words have been been my source of inspirations. And he is still my best pal.
