Would you please explain the difference between those two and how to pronouce them?

Hi Learneng,

Pellet
This is a small object, normally spherical. For example, chicken food is sometimes called pellets because it is that size and shape. You can also use it as a verb, when you throw such things at something (I pelleted the car with stones)
The pell part rhymes with hell

Pallet
This word has many meanings, but most refer to something like a tray. It could be a large wooden pallet which is used in factories to hold thing and is lifted by a pallet truck (also known as a fork lift truck). It could also be a smaller pallet like you mentioned in post, suitable for growing plants.
The pall part is the same pronunciation as in pal, (meaning friends), or rhymes with mallet
