Hi Learneng,

Except
Meaning: with the exclusion of
e.g. I'd like to buy all the apples except that rotten one

Accept
Meaning: agree with, answer affirmatively, to regard as true
e.g. I'll accept your answer, but I don't like it

Expect
Meaning: considering something likely to happen
e.g. When do you expect to finish that story?
