This is the practice thread for the future continuous tense. Include your sentence as a reply to this thread and I'll check it.

The future continuous tense is of the form subject + will + be + verb(ing) [present participle]
It is used in the following ways;

Something in progress at a point in the future: In one week I will be running the show
Predict the present: Mum will be cooking dinner right now
Politely asking about people’s plans: Will you be directing this movie?
Referring to fixed future events: I will be holding a charity event next Thursday

Hi Learneng,

Being British I spell program as programme, which many spell checkers pick up as being wrong (it is fine). Anyhow, the sentences were great with no real problems. Well done!

I will be preparing dinner tonight. Smiley
I will be going to the company meeting on Tuesday. Smiley
We will be eating dinner tonight. Smiley
They will be coming for dinner tonight. Smiley
He will be joining them here tonight. Smiley
The bus will be stopping here to take the passengers.
The program(me) will be coming on at 9 o'clock tonight.

Will she be coming for the party tonight?
I’ll be doing some office work after my English practice.
Robots will be doing a lot of work for us in the future.
We will be watching the program(me) at 9 o'clock tonight.  Smiley

Hi Learneng,

I look forward to when robots do almost everything for us in the future, I just hope it's my future! I have plans to live until I'm 100, and hopefully I'll see some wonderful things.

Perfect sentences, a big  Grin for you today!

Will she be coming for (to is also acceptable) the party tonight?
