This is the practice thread for the be going + infinitive tense. Include your sentence as a reply to this thread and I'll check it.

The be going + infinitive tense is of the form verb 'to be' (present) + going to + base form of verb
It is used in the following ways;

Intentions: I am going to sleep now
Predictions based on present evidence: I think I’m going to dream
Plans (made before): I’m going to wake up at 10am

Are you going to meet her?
I am going to tell her that you are upset with her remark.
They are going to visit her tonight.
He is going to go to Hawaii in the summer vacations.
It's going to rain tonight.

Hi Learneng,

Perfect sentences with no mistakes other than to remove the s from vacations. There are several vacations in the year, but the summer one is a single example and hence doesn't need an s.

Are you going to meet her? Smiley
I am going to tell her that you are upset with her remark. Smiley
They are going to visit her tonight. Smiley
He is going to go to Hawaii in the summer vacations.
It's going to rain tonight. Smiley

I am going to enjoy a movie with her.
My father is going to spend the thirty thousand dollars for a new car.
She is going to study an English for three weeks.
