Ole went to a hardware store looking for a ladder 4 meters long. The store owner pointed or motioned to the corner where the ladders are. Those ladders are, in fact, lying down on the floor along the wall. Suddenly, the store owner heard the commotion on the corner and saw Ole up high on the ladder. Ole had one end of a ruler on the floor and was holding the other end as high as he could reach and started to loose his balance. The store owner went to where Ole is and asked, “What are you doing, Ole?
Ole responded, I'm measuring the ladder.”
“Ole, why didn't you measure it while it is lying on the floor?”
Ole: “I can't do that; it will never work. I want to know how high it is, not how long it is.”

Ha ha, stupid is as stupid does...

I get the picture about this Ole character now. Is this Ole character someone you use in many jokes?
