Hi Luke,

This has been the most ignored/left out thread of the forum therefore, I have decided to write a sentences everyday using the same idiom or a new idiom.

Good idea Learneng,

I know this part is mostly overlooked, but I hope it still serves a purpose now and then to help confused language students.

Your sentence is fine, although to be absolutely honest, I wouldn't class it as slang or an idiom. I am in the process of writing a complete list of idioms in the main part of the website, but had to put it on hold for a while from lack of time. If you fancy choosing an idiom from there and writing a sentence with it, I'll certainly check it.  Smiley
