Hi Janestory,

It's so nice to get a description of something, as my university students rarely attempt to do so. How do you keep you bird, in a cage or in a larger room? And what do you feed parrots?

I will introduce a member of my family, my parrot. She is still a baby, less than 1 year old, and originally comes from Vietnam. She has black feathers and a red mouth, with some yellow feathers on the top of her head. She's the newest member of my family but is in top position, and can say both 'hello' and her name.

Hi Luke,

In fact,as a university student,I was always lazy so that I have to spend more time and more money to study English now Wink

I fed my bird with  special food for parrot and sometimes with bananas, which she liked very much.I always keep her in a cage and give her shower in my bath room, where she can fly freely.

Hi Janestory,

Me too! I spent my university time studying a subject I never use, and probably never will. And all I got was a huge student loan   Angry

They say that the university experience is the real reason people go there nowadays, but I think that's all advertising and not a good enough reason. What do you think? What did you gain from university?

Hi Luke,

It is a good question that what we gained from university. As yesterday I wrote to my nephew, university was not a place for knowledge, because sometimes the subject we studied would never be used.It was the place to learn the method of studying, which can help us to get more knowledge and deal with problems.

I was more fortunate than you as my career is relevant to the major I studied, but actually the knowledge I learned in the university was not used because the technology  I am engaged in the industry develops quickly.

Hi Janestory,

You are lucky to use your knowledge. I studied maths at university and now teach English, at university! Can I ask about your degree, which major did you take?

It is a good to question that what we gained from university. Yesterday I wrote to my nephew that university is not a place for knowledge, because sometimes the subject we study may never be used. It is the place to learn the method of studying, which ultimately helps us to get more knowledge and deal with problems independently.

Hi Janestory,

I'm green with envy, I always wanted to continue my university education for a masters, but never had the money. Computer science is something I would be very keen to do too!
